Nicole & Matthew ~ October 25th, 2014 | Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Nicole & Matthew – October 25th,2014

About a month before their wedding date, Nicole & Matthew were looking for the perfect photographer that loves adventures. They needed a photographer that was willing to travel to Puerta Vallarta to capture their beautiful beach wedding ceremony & celebration. Puerto Vallarta is situated on the West Coast on the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Who could say no to this?! Sand, palm trees, the sound of waves flowing in from the ocean… Personally, I haven’t flown in years, so I was a little bit nervous but decided it would be an amazing experience for everyone involved and just couldn’t say no! And oh my.. thank goodness I said YES! Nicole & Matthew are such amazing people and they care so much about everyone around them! They presented my videographer, Jack, and I \(along with all of their guests as well!\) with a goodie-bag with all of the essentials upon arrival \(sunscreen, chap-stick, snacks\) – how sweet is that?! We were so excited that we were chosen to help capture and celebrate with loved ones, friends and family who traveled from all over to help them celebrate their love for one another and to watch them say “I do!”

From the intimate sun lit ceremony on the beach to their very first dance as husband and wife.. everything was absolutely beautiful. Words just can’t describe the beauty of this whole celebration of love! That’s why we photographed it for you to enjoy as well! I hope you absolutely love the photos as much as we do! I am so thankful for this opportunity and couldn’t be happier for Nicole & Matthew as they start their new life together as husband and wife. We wish you two the best always! Congratulations! :\)

Don’t forget to check out the day in motion with the beautiful short film from the day at the bottom of the photos - filmed by the amazing J. Mueth Film & Photo!

Kelly & Eric ~ 10.04.2014

A couple of years ago, I met Kelly & Eric through a mutual friend - I knew right away that they were an extremely kind-hearted and fun, loving couple. When I heard that they were engaged after years of dating, I was so happy for them and couldn’t wait to hear more! Kelly got in contact with me a few weeks later to tell me all of the beautiful details of their upcoming rustic outdoor wedding. All the talk of bright yellow sunflowers bouquets, burlap liners, sunflower seed favors and outdoor ceremony got me so excited to help celebrate while being their photographer!

Saturday, October 4th came around and what an absolutely beautiful day for an outdoor country-side wedding. The weather was in the 60’s and the sun was shining down bright through big wispy white clouds. As guests started to arrive, Kelly, her bridesmaids, mother & mother-in-law all huddled in the guest bedroom getting ready for all of the excitement to come. The ceremony took place outdoors under a homemade burlap decorated arbor while the guests relaxed on cloth covered hay bales and watched the lovely couple recite their vows. After the lovely couple had their first kiss as husband and wife, guests trickled into the lovely, dimly-lit reception hall. After an absolutely delicious buffet dinner, the bride & groom had their first dance as well as the father-daughter dance, mother-son dance - and don’t forget the eventful bouquet and garter toss. Their guests enjoyed their bottomless micro-brews on tap and danced the night away while celebrating with the newly married couple!

Thank you both so much for choosing us to help celebrate and capture your beautiful wedding day! We hope you enjoy your photographs as much as we do!

Britni & Archie ~ 09.27.2014

Over a year ago, Britni & Archie were emailing back and fourth with me about photographing their wedding. We decided it would be best to meet up and talk some more about all of the festivities. Over coffee, Britni & Archie decided that I was just the perfect photographer to help capture their day in photographs. We spent hours going over all of the big (and little) details of the ceremony and reception. I could tell this was going to be a very unique and beautiful day for them both!

When it came down to the actual wedding day, everything was exactly how they had planned it.. beautiful, warm, colorful fall day with light winds, puffy clouds and bright blue skies. They chose to have a formal Catholic wedding ceremony inside the beautiful St. Peter Catholic church in the heart of downtown Jefferson City, Missouri. The festivities would then move over to the Honey Creek Lions Club tucked back in the beautiful countryside of Brazito, Missouri where dinner and drinks were served and everyone danced the night away. During the reception, the Groomsman had to tell the crowd a little secret.. The night before the wedding, the doggie below had done a bad.. bad thing. He ate Archie’s fish cake whole (you will see them pictured together below). Luckily, Britni has amazing friends & family and they were able to make a whole new cake without anyone knowing. AMAZING!

Thank you so much for having us! We wish you the best in your new life together! :)
